2024 Combating Campus Issues Scholarship | The Combating Campus Issues Scholarship is open to all students currently enrolled in an accredited community college, junior college, undergraduate, or graduate institution within the United States. High school graduates on the verge of beginning their college studies and existing GED holders, will also be considered for the award. The strongest candidates for this scholarship are those who can skillfully articulate their personal understanding of the problems on college campuses. As part of the application process, these individuals will also be asked to describe how they can expand awareness, foster solutions that focus on education and prevention, and encourage victims to come forward and demand the justice they deserve. Those interested in receiving the scholarship are asked to submit proof of good academic standing from their current educational institution. Students should hold a GPA of no less than a 3.0 on an overall scale of 4.0. |

Below you will find a brief description of the Mesquite AMBUCS local scholarship for MISD seniors. This is the 29th year that these scholarships are being offered, and it is the club’s goal to continue recognizing deserving MISD seniors. Three more scholarships will be awarded this year. The amount of these scholarships this year will be $9000 each. $1500 is disbursed annually the first 2 years, then $3000 for years 3 and 4, as long as the student continues to fulfill the scholarship requirements.
This scholarship is offered to Mesquite ISD seniors who are planning on pursuing an undergraduate degree in a medical-health related field. The degrees cannot be on the administrative side of healthcare, but on the side of direct patient care. (Pre-med, Pre- dentistry, physical therapy and speech therapy/pathology, audiology, optometry, podiatry, chiropractic, and nursing, to name most of them) This scholarship will be granted annually to three graduating seniors.
