πŸ”¬ Estefani Arriaga – Junior

Estefani will be presenting her research titled:

β€œSimulated Impact of Kerosene-Based VOCs Emitted by SpaceX on Plant and Soil Health.”

Her project investigates how volatile organic compounds (VOCs) released from SpaceX activity may affect soil and plant health in the Rio Grande Valley by comparing samples from affected and unaffected areas. 🌱🌎

Estefani aspires to attend Johns Hopkins University in Maryland after high school. We are incredibly proud of her commitment to environmental research and academic excellence! πŸ’™πŸŽ“

🧫 Paola Sanchez

Paola will be presenting her research on the effects of water-dwelling microorganisms on yeast cells, where she analyzed bacterial growth from different water samples and conducted gram stain testing. πŸ”¬πŸ§ͺ

Paola plans to attend UTRGV after graduation and continue her educational journey close to home. πŸ’šπŸŽ“
