Today, Donna High School proudly celebrated the official ribbon-cutting of our brand-new Automotive Shop, which will be used to provide Dual Enrollment Automotive courses through our partnership with South Texas College! 🎉

This incredible program gives our students the opportunity to earn a South Texas College certificate, gain industry certifications, and build real-world automotive skills through hands-on learning. 🔥🛠️
We are also excited to welcome our new instructor, Mr. Robert Wade, a Master Technician who brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and expertise to the program. His passion for the automotive industry will help prepare our students for successful careers in this high-demand field. 👨🔧⚙️
During today’s ribbon-cutting, guests had the opportunity to tour the shop and see the amazing equipment purchased by Donna Independent School District to help provide students with top-quality training and experiences. Our students are beyond excited to begin working in this state-of-the-art facility! ❤️💛
To make this opportunity even more special, Donna High School was also gifted a Chevy Z71 truck through South Texas College’s partnership with GM, giving students even more opportunities to work directly on vehicles and gain valuable hands-on experience. 🚘👏
