A new school year brings new opportunities, new goals, and another step toward your future. As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, your Donna High School CCMR Teachers, Mr. Gonzalez and Ms. Ramirez, are excited to welcome all of our students back!
At Donna High School, we want every student to leave high school prepared for what comes next. Whether your goal is to attend college, begin a career, earn an industry certification, join the military, or explore different possibilities, CCMR is here to help you find your path and get ready for it.
What is CCMR?
CCMR stands for College, Career, and Military Readiness.
Being Future Ready starts well before senior year. From the moment you enter Donna High School as a freshman, there are opportunities that can help prepare you for life after graduation.
Throughout the year, we will connect students with resources and opportunities such as college and university information, scholarships, FAFSA and financial aid, TSIA2 preparation and testing, College Bridge, dual credit, AP courses, career exploration, industry-based certifications, ASVAB, military opportunities, college visits, career presentations, and more.
And don't worry if you don't know exactly what you want to do after high school yet. That's part of why we're here. We can help you explore your options, answer questions, and connect you with opportunities that match your interests and goals.
We Will See You Throughout the Year
CCMR isn't just for seniors!
Mr. Gonzalez and Ms. Ramirez will meet with students in grades 9–12 through CCMR presentations throughout the school year. Each grade level will receive information designed to help you understand what you can be doing now to prepare for your future.
As you progress from freshman year to graduation, we'll continue connecting you to the different aspects of CCMR so that when senior year arrives, you're ready to take that next step with confidence.
